Jolly Tavoro Nyame in Zing Local Government Area of present-day Taraba State was Governor of Taraba State in Nigeria from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. He also served as governor of the state from January 1992 to November 1993.
Jolly Nyame, 66, ex-governor of Taraba from 1999 to 2007, was serving a 12-year jail term at the Kuje prison over misappropriation of funds while he was in office. The Federal Government of Nigeria finally grants the ex-governor, Dariye, and159 others freedom back to their various state.
